As the adage goes “charity begins at home”, Solomon charges parents to train a child the way he or she should go and this can be found in Proverbs 22:6 - “train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. Parents are encouraged to teach their children scriptures in the bible, and how to obey them.
