“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”. Philippians 4:6 NKJV
According to Philippians 4:6, God commands believers to communicate everything to Him through prayers and, in addition, render every request to Him. In other words, whatever you want Him to do for you, you should make it known to Him. He is the only living God who listens and sees us daily. Although He knows your thoughts, He still requires you to present your needs to Him as the Psalmist highlighted in the book of Psalms – “For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O LORD, You know it altogether” (Psalm 139:4 NKJV – – Bible Gateway, n.d.).
