“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 NKJV
God promises peace (shalom), and He indeed grants us peace. His peace surpasses the peace of this world. Yes, admittedly, the world we dwell in is sometimes filled with troubles caused by humankind, but the ones who put their trust in Him will sail through. Do not be distracted by the fears or challenges of the world: do not be afraid; one who waits on Him will not be disappointed. God is the only one who guarantees us liberty or freedom in all our endeavors. Keep praying for peace and tranquility, and do not lose hope, for God cares about His own.
